Linux Interface Project GUI musings

Introduction

This project is dedicated to the historical Linux Interface Project (1996-1998), founded by Michael Dingler: Kiss your boring GUI good-bye! :-)

On these pages I'll discuss various ideas from the LIP, some ideas I had more recently, as well as some user interface ideas from other people.
Thanks to SourceForge for hosting this project!

For some ideas prototype implementations and small code snippets will be provided for people who are thinking about implementing something similar.
